This class is open to ALL middle and high school female-identifying and non-binary youth.

This is a coed class open to ALL middle and high school youth.
Introductory Self-defense Classes
We are not limited to these categories and are open to requests or suggestions. Classes are held at Mission Headquarters, 2412 Clement Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501, for 1 - 1.5 hours.
Class Curriculum:
These classes emphasize the importance of being proactive in a self-defense situation. The three elements in a self-defense situation include situational awareness, attention to help strategies, and evading attacker strategies.
Situational Awareness:
